I thought you might like to take a look at a new Physicians for Human Rights report detailing crimes against humanity in Burma. Entitled Life Under the Junta: Evidence of Crimes Against Humanity in Burma's Chin State, the report includes a foreword by Justice Richard Goldstone and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

Report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Myanmar

The present report is submitted pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 13/25 and General Assembly resolution 64/238 and covers human rights developments in Myanmar since the Special Rapporteur’s report to the Human Rights Council in March 2010 (A/HRC/13/48).

On 13 August 2010, the Government of Myanmar announced the long-awaited date for national elections for 7 November 2010. The present report focuses on human rights in relation to elections, and the issue of justice and accountability.
